Levitra is a fairly effective drug for treating erectile dysfunction. In most cases, this has received positive feedback. Men generally report a persistent and prolonged erection as well as no problems with obtaining it. However, in some cases, Levitra still does not result in the intended effect. What should I do in this case?
Taking Levitra may not evoke the desired result in the following cases:
Consumption with high amounts of alcohol and/or fatty foods. Fatty foods and ethanol will interfere with the normal absorption of the active ingredient of Levitra, vardenafil. As a result, Levitra may not act immediately or not at all.
Individual features of your body. The body of some men may not demonstrate responsiveness to vardenafil. However, cases such as this are not common.
The dosage is too low. If you have taken take erectile dysfunction for a long time, a minimum dosage of 5 mg may be ineffective for you.
Lack of sexual stimulation.
Note that Levitra only works in cases where sexual stimuli are present.
Taking some medications such as antidepressants reduces the effect of vardenafil.
What if I do not get an erection when I take Levitra?
Do not despair. The first thing you can do is carefully increase the dosage. If the doctor prescribed this particular drug, take the other half of the pill or order Levitra at a higher concentration (e.g., 10 mg). In the vast majority of cases, this amount will be enough to achieve a full erection.
Another important rule is to try to relax and not think about the problems with the erection. Even the most effective drug will not help you if you are constantly stressed and thinking when the erection will arrive.
In some cases, a doctor may recommend another more powerful drug (e.g., Levitra may not work for severe erectile dysfunction or diabetes). Therefore, it makes sense to replace this drug with another type. For example, the drug Cialis is recognized by the maximum long-term effect (it lasts for 36 hours) and may be able to help.
Prior to using stimulants, it is important to be sure that you are doing the right thing. In the absence of mutual sexual attraction, the effect of these types of drugs may not occur. However, such situations are extremely rare.
Do not mix Levitra with other drugs (e.g., antidepressants, psychostimulants, antiviral drugs, etc.).
